Acupuncture is the practice of inserting very fine (sterile, single use) needles into specific points around the body known to cause certain changes to occur to the ‘Qi’ or ‘vital force’ contained within.
Tui Na is a form of Chinese medical massage therapy, usually performed fully clothed & through a sheet. Like with Acupuncture, Tui Na is based on the concept that our bodies contain Qi.
Cupping can be used by itself or combined with other aspects of Chinese Medicine to aid and achieve healing. It works by applying special cups to the area to create a suction.
Moxa is made from the dried and aged leaves of the Chinese Mugwort plant, which is a plant renowned for its warming properties.
Guasha is a traditional Chinese healing technique that uses a smooth-edged tool to gently massage and scrape the skin.

Our Consultation & Treatment Plan
Clients are assessed holistically during the initial consultation, and a treatment plan drawn up taking into account the symptoms presenting (which can be physical, mental or emotional) and how they affect the individual person. Sessions are normally about an hour in duration, and involve either Acupuncture or Tui Na Therapy (sometimes combined) along with other therapies where appropriate.
